우선, 이 프로그램은 대부분 유료이기때문에 프리버전이자 가장좋은 Home으로 다운받으면 된다. 부터블 iso도 있는데 이건아예 외장드라이브에서 파티션 위자드 운영체제를 설치해서 파티션 위자드 인터페이스로 부팅한다, 리눅스기반인지라 안정적인 작업이가능하다. 그래도용량은 40MB가 넘어간다.
물론 부터블도 프리버젼이다.
다만, 운영체제 라고보기에는 그렇코 카스퍼스키 ISO로 검사했슬거와 같은 UI 처럼 정말 파티션위자드 인터페이스밖에 없고, 종료하면 자동으로 컴퓨터가 재부팅된다.
데이터를 손상시키지 않은채로 동적디스크를 주파티션으로 바꿀수있고, 파티션 크기를 마음대로 조정할 수 있다. 윈도우의 기본유틸리티인 "디스크 관리" 와는 확 차이가 난다. 파티션을 통째로 복사할수도 있다.
파티션 형식도 포맷하지 않고 멋대로 바꿀 수 있...긴 한테, NTFS랑 FAT밖에 지원이 안 되나보다. ext4같은건 안 되나? 하긴, NTFS를 ext4로 바꾸는사람은 리눅스사람밖에없겟지...
MBR이 감염되었을땐 MBR을 리셋할수도 있다. 그러니까 뭐 많이받고 하다가 MBR파괴 악성코드먹은 사람들을 위한 소프트웨어라고 할 수 있다.
파티션을 자유자재로 다룬다는 느낌이라, 부터블 디스크 하나쯤은 가지고 있어도 나쁠건 없다. 하지만, 한꺼번에 너무 많은 예약명령을 내리다가 ERROR나버리면 그순간 나죽엇소를 외치며 하드가 날라갈 수 있다.
그러니까 한번에 한번씩 쓰는게 좋다. (그건 다른 모든 파티션 매니징 소프트웨어도 마찬가지다.) .
